Airbus and Rolls-Royce have created an integrated parts availability service for Cathay Pacific's growing Airbus A350 fleet.

This means that Cathay will be able to access both engine and aircraft parts in the same warehouse in Hong Kong, and that the parts are available locally when needed.

The new interface encompasses both A350 airframe and engine Line-Replaceable-Unit (LRU) components, and also integrates the Airbus Fleets Hours Service and R-R's TotalCare Availability service.

Flights Fleets Analyzer shows that Cathay operates a fleet of 143 aircraft, with one A350-900 that arrived on 27 May. A further 11 A350-900s are scheduled to arrive later this year.

Altogther, it has 21 more on order and has options for four more.
