Portable in-flight entertainment manufacturer digEcor could announce new agreements with up to six customers for its latest L7 and L10 portable devices.

Company chief executive Brent Wood revealed those unannounced carriers to ATI today during the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) conference.

digEcor recently announced Thomas Cook Airlines Belgium as the L7 launch customer after the carrier began featuring the players on its medium-haul Airbus A320 flights to Egypt, the Canary Islands and Jordan.

Some of those carriers are likely to split their L series orders between the 7in L7 and 10in L10 players, opting to feature the larger devices in premium class, says Wood.

digEcor debuted the prototypes of the portables during the 2009 APEX conference, and partnered with Chinese firm Lefeel Media Technology in producing the devices, which feature capacitive touch screens and an optical mouse.
