Swiss business aviation service provider PrivatAir has completed the first stage of a $1.1m refurbishment programme for its recently acquired Transair ground handling service at Paris' Le Bourget airport. The upgrade so far includes rebranding and a temporary facelift of the passenger terminal. When completed in 2002, the terminal will be three times larger than now, incorporate passenger and pilots' lounges and will have increased hangar space for widebody jets. The acquisition of Transair gives PrivatAir a 30% share of aircraft movements at Le Bourget.
