The Zhuhai air show, also known as the China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition, attracted about 500 exhibitors during 1-7 November. Organisers say participation was close to 2002 levels but repeat visitors say the show has steadily shrunk in size. This year featured a larger Russian delegation but a smaller Western presence and a limited static display, with the Chinese electing not to show any of their new military aircraft.
