PARIS: Germany orders medevac kits for NH90 helicopters

Twelve of Germany's NH90 transport helicopters will be upgraded to carry intensive-care medical evacuation kits developed by NH Industries member Eurocopter. Germany's BWB procurement agency signed a contract with the company at the show to acquire the kits, which will enable the NH90 to support the evacuation of combat casualties. The award "completes the NH90's multi-role capabilities", said Eurocopter senior vice-president Ralf Barnscheidt.
