Italian airframer Piaggio Aero has received certification from Russia's Interstate Aviation Committee for its P180 Avanti II business aircraft.
Piaggio said the production certificates open the way for the first deliveries of the twin-turboprop aircraft in Russia.
The manufacturer introduced the type into the Russian market last year.
Alberto Galassi, Piaggio Aero chief executive, said: "The Russian Federation represents a high potential market for the P180 Avanti II in both its executive and special mission versions."
