ATR is working on plans to display an ATR72-600 aircraft sporting the Royal Air Maroc Express livery at this year's Paris air show.
The manufacturer plans to hand over the first ATR72-600 to the regional unit of Royal Air Maroc at the end of June.
But, speaking to ATI and Flightglobal at an Azul delivery ceremony to promote breast cancer awareness in Toulouse, chief executive Filippo Bagnato said he was hopeful that the ATR72-600 in RAM Express colours would be displayed in Paris.
"We will ask permission from the Moroccan carrier to have the aircraft for the air show," he says.
A year ago, Royal Air Maroc announced an order for two ATR42-600s and four ATR72-600s for its domestic subsidiary. The carrier is scheduled to take delivery of two of the ATR72-600s this year.
