Aircelle has taken possession of a building near Sukhoi's Superjet 100 final assembly line in Komsomolsk, where it will later this year open a support operation dedicated to the nacelles it makes for the SSJ's Powerjet SAM146 engines. The Safran Group company's eighth facility is being readied as it marks five years of nacelle components production in Casablanca, where Safran's top Morocco executive Hamid Benbrahim El-Andaloussi says the imminent shipment of the 300th Casablanca-built Rolls-Royce BR710 thrust reverser directly to Bombardier "is a sign of maturity" for Aircelle Maroc.

The fast-growing Casablanca site employs nearly 400 engineers and technicians building metal and composite nacelle components and thrust reversers for aircraft including Airbus A320, Gulfstream V, Bombardier Global Express and 85, Embraer 135/145 and SSJ100.
