Air France relocated its London/Heathrow-Strasbourg service to London/City on 27 October, and began codesharing with Finnair on three daily Paris/Charles de Gaulle-Helsinki flights. Jersey European Airways is oper-ating franchise services for Air France on Paris/CDG- Birmingham-Glasgow. Air France has launched a new twice weekly Paris/CDG-Newcastle service in a franchise deal with Gill Airways. Brit Air is operating Air France franchise services from London/Gatwick to Brest, Caen, Le Havre, Nantes and Rennes, and from Paris/CDG to Southampton.
BritishAirways was due to introduce twice weekly services from London/Heathrow to Almaty, Kazakhstan, and from London/Gatwick to Entebbe and Dar es Salaam, in November. Airline Management Ltd will operate from Gatwick to Cancun, Puerto Plata and Tobago on a wet-lease basis for BA next year.
British Airways franchisee British Regional Airlines has introduced the Embraer EMB.145 on services from Southampton to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Belfast, and has moved its Inverness services from Heathrow to Gatwick.

Continental Airlines and Virgin Atlantic are to start codesharing on 2 February, on services from London/Heathrow to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, Washington/Dulles, New York/Newark and New York/JFK; between London/Gatwick and Newark, Boston and Orlando; and between Manchester and Orlando.
Continental Airlines and EVA Air are to codeshare on services from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Newark and Honolulu to Taipei and 14 destinations in southeast Asia, pending government approval. Continental has just started codesharing with China Airlines from Houston to Taipei via San Francisco.
