Korean Air has begun operations to Aomori, Japan. The thrice weekly service uses a Fokker 100.

Emirates will start flights to Nairobi and Ho Chi Minh City from the end of October. Both destinations will be twice weekly and use A310s.

SAS is to resume its service between Copenhagen and Delhi and will co-operate with Air India. The thrice weekly Boeing 767 service will begin with the winter schedule.

Continental Airlines settled its lease dispute with the city of Denver over gates it held at Denver International Airport. The cut from 20 to 10 gates will cut the leasing cost from

$59 million to $27 million.
