Azerbaijan Airlines will start daily services from Baku to London Heathrow airport on 28 October.
The new route will be operated with an Airbus A320, the carrier says in a statement.
BMI also currently operates the Baku-Heathrow route, though its service will be transferred over to British Airways in the forthcoming winter season.
