Brussels Airlines is to add nine summer destinations and two year-round destinations to its network, and two Airbus A319s to its fleet.

The new summer routes include three to the island of Corsica – to Ajaccio, Bastia and Figari – plus one to Montpellier on the French mainland. The Italian destinations of Bari and Cagliari will also be served seasonally by the Belgian carrier, as will Malta, Seville in Spain and Greek capital Athens.

New services to the Polish cities of Krakow and Warsaw will be operated year-round.

Additionally, Brussels Airlines is upping frequencies to Catania, Florence, Madrid, Marseille and Palermo.

A website relaunch, a new loyalty programme and new airport lounges at Brussels airport are also planned by the carrier.
