EXECUJET EXPANDS
ExecuJet Middle East has added two large-cabin aircraft to its managed fleet. The Gulfstream G450 and Dassault Falcon 900DX EASy are based in Dubai and are available for charter. Late in 2010 the Zurich-headquartered business aviation services provider - which manages 150 aircraft worldwide - combined its European and Middle East charter businesses to provide customers with full access to both fleets. Meanwhile, ExecuJet Australasia is building a 755m² (8,130ft²) fixed-base operation at its site at Melbourne Essendon airport. Building work is scheduled for completion in August.
RAPID CHALLENGER
Bombardier has introduced a Challenger 601 business jet to strengthen its PartsExpress airborne aircraft spares rapid-delivery service to customers in Asia, India, the Middle East and North Africa. The large-cabin business jet is based in Dubai, from where it will "transport parts, technicians and test equipment at a moment's notice to Learjet, Challenger and Global aircraft operators". Separately, the Canadian airframer has delivered the first of five Challenger 300 super-midsize business jets to Shenzhen charter operator Donghai Jet. The aircraft joins a large-cabin Challenger 605 in service.
HAO HAI GOES CESSNA
Hao Hai General Aviation has acquired 11 Cessna Grand Caravan single-engined turboprops and three Citation Encore+ light business jets. Deliveries are set to begin during the second quarter.
IPAD APPEAL
New owners of Pilatus PC-12NG single-engined turboprops will receive an Apple iPad containing interactive content customised to each owner's individual aircraft, as well as delivery documents, owner manuals and a variety of aviation apps. Pilatus says the move is designed to enhance its "long-standing reputation for superior customer service and satisfaction".
