CHINESE CITATIONS
Cessna has delivered three Citation Sovereign business jets to China's Flight Inspection Centre. The midsize Sovereigns will be used for the calibration of navaid systems serving China's rapidly growing network of airports. The Flight Inspection Centre - which is run by the country's civil aviation administration - had previously acquired 11 Citations, including Citation VIs, Citation Xs and Citation XLSs. Meanwhile, Cessna has delivered a CJ3 light business jet to an unnamed customer in Hong Kong.
HEADSET CONTRACT
Aviation headset manufacturer Sennheiser has signed an agreement with Embraer to incorporate its HMEC 26 active noise reduction headsets on its new-build aircraft, including the Phenom and Legacy families, Lineage 1000 and 170, 175, 190 and 195 range of regional jets.
ABS EXPANDS
Czech business aircraft services provider ABS Jets has opened a new base at Bratislava airport to exploit the growing demand for business aircraft within Slovakia and other eastern European countries. The Prague-headquartered company plans to open facilities in Sofia in Bulgaria and Ukraine's capital Kiev.
