EUROPEAN CHARTERS Blue Line ceased operations and returned its eight aircraft - Airbus A310s, Boeing MD-83s and Fokker 100s - to their lessors. The French company will have closed by October's end. Sweden's Viking Airlines also stopped flying (see P8), while Germany's Hamburg International - an operator of eight Airbus A319s and a Boeing 737-700, according to Flightglobal's ACAS database - cancelled a number of services citing "economic reasons".
