German budget carrier DBA has bought back the majority shareholding in the airline acquired by wet-lease specialist Germania’s owner, apparently after the two sides disagreed about DBA’s future operation. Germania owner Hinrich Bischoff took 64% of DBA in March under a co-operation agreement that also involved DBA’s leasing of 12 Fokker 100 aircraft, effectively absorbing the operations of low-fare carrier Germania Express.
