London-headquartered business jet charter company Gama Aviation has introduced an Airbus ACJ318 to its United Arab Emirates fleet.

The aircraft is equipped with 14 seats in VIP accommodation and will be operated on behalf of a private owner out of Sharjah International Airport.

It is the first ACJ and largest aircraft in Gama's fleet and brings its number of UAE business jets to five.

The company is currently building a 12,000m² (129,000ft²) hangar at Sharjah airport, which will be used to shelter and maintain aircraft. Gama is currently in the certification process for CAR 145 maintenance approval by the UAE's General Civil Aviation Authority.

Initially, it plans to provide line maintenance services.
