Danish start-up carrier ES-air will begin operations on 2 March with a domestic service between Esbjerg and Copenhagen.

The route will be operated four times daily on weekdays by Jet Time, on behalf of ES-air, using an ATR 72-500 turboprop.

ES-air says it is targetting customers involved in the oil industry around Esbjerg, where the carrier is based.

It adds that it is set to enter an interline agreement with SAS and has been approached by Qatar Airways with a proposal to co-operate commercially.
