Executive jet charter operator Arab Wings offered crowds at EBACE an exclusive peek inside the first Bombardier Global 5000 delivered to the Middle East with a Vision flight deck powered by the Rockwell Collins Pro Line Fusion avionics suite.

The Amman, Jordan-based operator received the super-large business jet - the second such aircraft built by Bombardier - on 3 April, stretching the type's maximum range with a nonstop delivery flight from Montreal to the company's headquarters.

The Global 5000 joins Arab Wings' rapidly growing fleet of business jets. The company launched in 2005 with two business jets, and its fleet has expanded to 20 since then.

Arab Wings notes that the avionics upgrade for the Global 5000 has proved satisfactory in service, with only minor nuisance issues reported such as a faulty smoke alarm. Bombardier's services staff has been "very co-operative" in resolving any concerns, Arab Wings adds.
