Elliott Aviation (Booth 1463) has returned to EBACE to promote its range of aircraft upgrades designed, it says, "to help owners of European-based aircraft extend the useful life of older airframes and make the most of their investments". Moline, Illinois, US-based Elliott Aviation is showcasing its recent projects including a fully refurbished EU-registered Beechjet 400 and the first European-registered King Air B200 twin turboprop equipped with Garmin's G1000 glass cockpit.

The Beechjet received a new custom-designed 400XP-style interior, new paint and digital flight data recorder - for which Elliott Aviation received US supplemental type certification in January and is expected to be European Aviation Safety Agency certified later this year. Elliott Aviation's installation of Garmin's G1000 in a Norwegian-based King Air B200 will be the first EU-registered King Air to feature the G1000 retrofit, pending Garmin's receipt of EASA certification. Elliott says: "it has performed more G1000 retrofits in King Air aircraft than any other company, and was the first authorised facility to install the G1000 in a King Air B200".
