Jet Aviation's Moscow facility at Vnukovo airport has become an independent legal Russian entity, paving the way for the General Dynamics-owned company to perform maintenance services under its European Aviation Safety Agency 145 approval. Established in 2007 as a branch of Jet Aviation Dusseldorf, Germany, the Vnukovo facility provides round-the-clock technical maintenance services, including line maintenance, defect rectification and aircraft on ground services, to operators of Bombardier, Embraer, Gulfstream and Hawker business aircraft types. Meanwhile. Jet Aviation has begun offering maintenance services on G200 super midsize business jets from its Sorocaba, Brazil, maintenance facility following approval from the Brazilian civil aviation authority. The company says it plans to add the large-cabin Gulfstream V, G450 and G550 to its offering at a later date.
