EMBRAER HAS DELIVERED its 300th EMB-120 Brasilia, the third for one of Brazil's newest airlines, Interbrasil Star. The company is the regional-branch airline of Transbrasil: it started operations on 3 July and now flies three EMB-120s on routes out of the capital Brasilia and Sao Jose do Rio Preto in the State of Sao Paulo. Embraer has also delivered three Brasilias to another new Brazilian airline, Passaredo Transportes Aereos. Passaredo, owned by a large bus company of the same name based in the city of Sao Paulo, started flying on 1 July out of Ribeirao Preto.
