Sky-Tec’s new 24-volt SuperDuty starter motors for general aviation use are capable of significantly longer cycles.
“We designed the new starter series specifically for our customers supporting larger fleets of ‘workhorse’ aircraft such as Piper Navajo Chieftains and Twin Commanders,” says Rich Chiappe, director of operations, sales and marketing for Sky-Tec.
The Extended Cranking motors are available now on all 24v LS and PM model Flyweight Lycoming starters, 24v HT Original High-Torque Lycoming starters and 24v NL High-Torque Inline Lycoming starters.
