US-based Arkwin Industries will manufacture and support a fuel ejector pump for Bell UH-1 helicopters - the venerable "Huey" - and also for the Cobra under licence from Ontic, part of BBA Aviation (H4/F15).
Senior vice-president marketing and contracts for Arkwin, Robert Hultmark, says: "Licensing with Ontic assures support for our customers of mature products for as long as they need them, allowing Arkwin to focus our efforts on our current and future product needs".
Ontic president Peg Billson says: "The support of legacy product lines under licence is one of the many benefits Ontic's service provides to major OEMs like Arkwin. We are pleased to expand our licensing relationship with Arkwin Industries through the addition of this product."
