FlyBE has signed a long-term contract with SAS Component in support of the airline's expanding Bombardier Q400 fleet. The contract, a 'power by the hour' arrangement, covers the repair and overhaul of all components on the high-performance turboprop.
The deal enables the exchange of parts between the fleet of SAS Commuter and FlyBE and provides for a shared inventory, which will be held at both Copenhagen and FlyBE's Exeter UK headquarters.
