German wet-lease specialist Germania's owner Hinrich Bischoff is to acquire a 64% shareholding in low-fare airline DBA following the tie-up that has seen DBA take over most of the fleet and routes of budget carrier Germania Express. DBA will become the third-largest scheduled carrier in Germany, with a fleet of 27 aircraft.
