A Messerschmitt Bf-109G-4, of the EADS Heritage Flight, scraped the ground with its wing-tip on landing after a joint flying display with its jet-powered sibling the Me 262 yesterday.

The type is susceptible to gusts at slow speed when the controls are less effective, which is not helped by the main wheels’ narrow track.
