Calin Rovinescu, the number two to Air Canada's chief executive Robert Milton, has resigned. Rovinescu, who joined Milton's team in 2000 and was made chief restructuring officer in April 2003, left as talks with potential investor Trinity Investments foundered and may be the beginning of further senior changes yet to come.

British Airways sales director Dale Moss is leaving the carrier at the end of June. A highly regarded sales and marketing executive with wide transatlantic experience, Moss, a US national, joined BA in 1970. He left for four years in 1989 for a spell at Rosenbluth Travel, rejoining BA in 1993. The airline says a replacement for Moss will be announced shortly.

Kenneth Marx, 40, has been named as the new president and chief executive of SAS Cargo Group succeeding Peter Gronlund who is to head up the Scandlines ferry firm. Marx has 16 years of experience within the SAS Group, the last five as a senior executive of SAS Cargo.
