EXECUJET FACILITY
ExecuJet Middle East has teamed with Qatar's Al Faisal to establish an aircraft management and charter operation early next year under a Qatari air operator's certificate. Following that it plans to set up a fixed base operation and line maintenance operation at the country's new airport.
AL BATEEN APPROVAL
Abu Dhabi's Al Bateen Executive airport has received Category 1 approval, allowing instrument landing system approaches in poor visibility. The business aviation hub - which is vying to become host for MEBA 2010 - has also slashed its landing and parking fees by 35% and 17% respectively.
GAINJET TRAINS
Emirates-CAE Flight Training has signed a contract with Athens-based private charter operator Gainjet Aviation for Gulfstream G450, G550 and Bombardier Global Express pilot training at its Dubai centre. CAE also provides training for Gainjet pilots on the Embraer Phenom 100 in the UK and the Gulfstream G200 in the USA.
SABENA SPARES DEAL
Airbus Corporate Jet Centre is to co-operate with Sabena Technics to offer Airbus Corporate Jet customers airframe spare parts support.
