Sky Aviation had previously told Flightglobal Pro that it will base the first aircraft in Makassar and use it on domestic routes to Balikpapan, Denpasar, Sorong and Jayapura.

The carrier is scheduled to receive five Superjets this year, while the remaining seven will be delivered from 2014 through to 2015.
