Taiwanese investigators have opened an inquiry after an Embraer 190 was damaged during a runway accident at Magong.
The aircraft, operated by local carrier Mandarin Airlines, had arrived from Taipei's Songshan airport on a domestic service to the Penghu Islands, off the Taiwanese west coast.
Flight AE369 had landed on runway 20 at 21:27 on 17 August, says Taiwan's Aviation Safety Council, but then "skidded off the runway".
"The aircraft sustained substantial damage and all people on board were safe," it adds. Images from the scene indicate the nose-gear has collapsed.
ASC investigators have identified the aircraft as bearing registration B-16825. Flightglobal's Ascend Online database shows the General Electric CF34-powered twinjet had serial number 167 and was last listed as being leased from GECAS.
There is no immediate data available on weather conditions at the time of the accident.
The ASC says that it "immediately launched an on-scene team to the airport" and states that the flight crew has been interviewed and both flight recorders were retrieved from the jet. Air traffic control data has also been gathered.
"The team also conducted a runway service inspection, aircraft tyre-mark measurements, aircraft damage inspection and data collection," the ASC adds.
