Iraq has converted some of its Dassault Mirage F1 and Tupolev Tu-16 Badgers to carry chemical warfare agents, says the latest assessment by Israel's intelligence services. According to the assessment, Iraq has 30 operational Mirage F1s and a few Tu-16s and these have been modified to launch chemical warfare attacks on Israel as a response to a US attack. Previously the largest weapons-of-mass-destruction threat to Israel from Iraq was tactical ballistic missiles.
