Maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) firm Ameco Beijing has won a nine-year heavy maintenance contract from Jade Cargo International.

Under the deal, Ameco Beijing will provide heavy maintenance services to the carrier's fleet of six Boeing 747-400ERFs.

Ameco Beijing is a joint venture between Air China and Lufthansa German Airlines that offers services for airframes, engines and components of commercial aircraft. It also offers engineering and logistics services as well as technical training.
