LAN Airlines has revealed that it is the customer for six Boeing 767-300s that have been designated for an “unidentified” client by the manufacturer. The order is a mix of -300ER passenger aircraft and -300 Freighters and takes the airline’s 767 orders to 12 aircraft.

The revelation comes as the first of the 12 aircraft batch, a -300F, was delivered to LAN’s freight affiliate Absa Cargo. A second 767 freighter is scheduled for delivery in October with the remainder of the 767s due be delivered to LAN and its affiliates by October 2008.
