Flightglobal has launched a free iPhone and iPad app for visitors to this year's Dubai air show.

The app, developed in co-operation with Airbus, is a must have for anyone attending the show which runs 13-17 November, and provides visitors with vital maps, exhibitor and show information to make the most of their valuable time.

The Air Show Guide app features a real-time news feed from Flightglobal's team of expert journalists reporting live from Dubai.

The news stories are full text and include images, allowing executives to stay abreast of the latest developments at the show.

The app also features a searchable list of all the exhibitors at the show, and a series of interactive maps detailing the show's static display, exhibition halls, stands and chalets.

A simple tap shows the user the exact location of the stand or chalet of any exhibitor, making finding your way around the show ground a simple task.

Also included are up-to-date flying schedules for each day, information on all the aircraft on display at the show, and essential local information for getting about in Dubai and making the most of your time in the city. The app makes an invaluable companion for any air show visitor or exhibitor.

The app can be downloaded for free at iTunes AppStore.
