Nextant Aerospace is displaying a full-scale mock-up of its G90XT flightdeck for the first time at NBAA, and says it is on track for to certificate and deliver the first twin-engined turboprop – a remanufactured version of the Beechcraft King Air C90 - in the first quarter of 2015.

The G90XT cockpit has a host of features, including a Garmin G1000 avionics suite, an integrated electronic engine management system, single-lever power control, digital pressurisation and an environmental cooling system.

Nextant is now preparing to mate the G90XT’s General Electric H75-100 engines – the first twin-engined turboprop application for the powerplant - with the fuselage, in preparation for the aircraft’s maiden flight next month.

The G90XT has a projected cruise speed of 273kt (500 km/h) and a range of 1,240nm (2,300km).

Meanwhile, Nextant has appointed Piedmont Aircraft as the sales representative for its G90XT and 400XTi light twinjet – a remanufactured Beechcraft/Hawker 400A/XP - for the US northeast/mid-Atlantic region.
