The first of seven Bombardier Dash 8 Q400s for Qantas regional arm QantasLink arrived in Brisbane on 11 January.

Q400

The 72-seater is undergoing route proving and pilot training ahead of its first revenue flight, which is due to be operated on 26 February between Brisbane and Rockhampton. It will also operate twice-daily frequencies between Brisbane and Mackay from April, replacing a daily flight operated by a Boeing 737. QantasLink operates 43 aircraft, including 33 Dash 8s and has options on 10 more Q400s.
