An extended warranty for Garmin’s G 1000 avionics-equipped Beechcraft Baron G58s and Beechcraft Bonanza G36 aircraft is now being offered by Hawker Beechcraft as an aftermarket option.

The new Garmin FliteLevel extended warranty product offers complete system-wide maintenance protection for everything from cockpit displays to remote line replaceable units (LRUs) and is designed to give owners comprehensive protection against unexpected product failures when their standard two-year factory warranty expires.

The Baron G58 and Bonanza G36 both feature fully-integrated Garmin G1000 avionics with GFC 700 flight control system and GWX 68 color weather radar, WAAS and LPV approach capability.

The first of its kind to be offered by Garmin, the conveniently transferable warranty offers an additional three years of coverage to an aircraft’s avionics.

With various fixed-price coverage plans to choose from, owners can evaluate their needs and enroll in the plan that best meets their requirements. Plan options include parts only, parts and labor, local shop labor and replacement charges, or LRU exchanges and flat-rate factory repair fees only.

Eligible aircraft include those up to one year out of original warranty until December 31, 2008. To buy the warranty, aircraft inspection and unit serial number verification are required. Additionally, the warranty will be available as a factory option beginning with the 2009 Baron and Bonanza models.
