Thai business jet charter company OrientSkys has formed a strategic alliance with Beijing Airlines, a subsidiary of China's flag carrier Air China.

Under the deal, OrientSkys will act as agent for Beijing Airlines, secure charter contracts from outside China and provide priority to its fleet for charters within China, says OrientSkys.

It will also provide sales, marketing and business development services within Southeast Asia, Europe and the USA to Beijing Airlines.

"Not only will this agreement give OrientSkys' international customers operator direct pricing from the only Wyvern safety-audited business jet operation in China, but Beijing Airlines' customers will immediately be able to benefit from OrientSkys' global network for their jet charter needs in the USA, Europe and the Middle East this is a win-win for both OrientSkys and Beijing Airlines," says OrientSkys' chief operating officer Trevor Merszei.

Established in 2003, Beijing Airlines provides aircraft management, private jet charter and ground handling services. It operates fleet of 10 aircraft under its management, including a Bombardier Challenger 605 and Global Express XRS, a Gulfstream G450 and a Boeing Business Jet.

Bangkok-based OrientSkys was established in 2004, providing various services including aircraft sale and acquisitions.
