PAL Express, formerly known as Airphil Express, plans to launch two new services in the coming months.

It will operate thrice weekly on the Zamboanga-Sandakan and Manila-Basco routes, starting 22 April and 1 May respectively, according to its network timetable.

The carrier did not specify the aircraft type it will use on the two services.

PAL Express was rebranded from Airphil Express on 15 March, building on the alliance it has with Philippine Airlines. The rebranding will improve and align its service standards and product offerings with the country's flag carrier, says PAL.

Basco is located in the northern province of Batanes, while Sandakan is the second largest city in the eastern Malaysian state of Sabah.
