Marshall Executive Aviation has applied for a Canadian Foreign Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) to enable the UK-headquartered company to operate flights in Canada with its Bombardier Challenger 300.
The move follows the operator being granted an AOC extension enabling its super-midsize business jet - G-KALS - to operate in North and South America, Africa, the Middle East and Russia.
"Our goal is to widen our AOC internationally as our business expands and also add to the managed aircraft fleet," says Marshall Executive Aviation managing director Steve Jones.
G-KALS joined the Marshall Executive Aviation fleet in June 2010 and is based at London Stansted airport. Marshall is also expanding its footprint into London Luton airport, where sister company Marshall Business Aviation recently opened a centre, providing technical support - including AOG and casualty support - for an expanding range of Cessna aircraft based at the airport.
G-KALS is one of three executive aircraft Marshall Executive Aviation operates, the others being a Cessna Citation XLS and a Cessna Citation Bravo. Marshall Executive Aviation will mark its 10th anniversary in 2013.
