A business aviation trade show targeted at the flourishing Asian market has been launched by UK trade and consumer exhibition organiser Reed Exhibitions.

Asian Business Aviation (ABA) will be held in the Chinese city of Macau from 9-11 June. The event - which follows Reed's success with the business aviation showcase at Asian Aerospace in Hong Kong in September 2009 - will be staged at the Macau Business Aviation Centre at Macau International airport.

ABA has the support of the Asian Business Aviation Association, which also is backing the Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition to be held in Hong Kong from 18-19 January 2011. Abace is promoted by the NBAA.

"Asian Business Aviation will bring together manufacturers of business jets and helicopters and suppliers from all sectors of corporate aviation for an event featuring a major static display, conference and hospitality chalets. The static display will highlight the crème de la crème of hardware from the world's leading aviation players," says Reed Exhibitions.

Confirmed primary sponsors include the Civil Aviation Authority of Macau, the Macau Government Tourist Board, together with CAM Macau International airport and the Macau Business Aviation Centre.

Macau's Trade and Investment Promotion Institute is also lending support in securing VIPs and prominent business visitors. Jet Asia Pacific also plans to host an exclusive party for industry high flyers during the show.

ABA is timed to coincide with Reed Exhibitions' annual Global Gaming Expo Asia, which is attended by more than 4,500 gaming professionals, owners of casinos, cruise ships and gaming clubs. Macau is a world-renowned gaming centre and three years ago eclipsed Las Vegas as the richest gambling market in the world.
