Ryanair will add a route from Rabat to Rome as part of its summer schedule to Morocco.

The Irish budget carrier will start flights between the Italian and Moroccan capitals on 27 October and will add additional frequencies on routes from Niederrhein to Agadir and Milan to Marrakech.

Ryanair will operate a total of 55 routes to the North African country this summer and expects to transport 2.9 million passengers, which it says represents 12% of the total market.
