SAS Group is to spin off its maintenance division SAS Technical Services. The move will encompass the maintenance divisions of the mainline carrier SAS, the group's Norwegian operator Braathens, regional carrier SAS Commuter, as well as Estonian Air. Around 3,800 staff are employed in the combined entity.
