Turkish Airlines (THY) is looking to add two regional jets to its fleet.

The carrier says it aims to deploy two 70-100 seat regional jets on thinner routes to neighbouring countries.

THY is evaluating dry-leasing options with Bombardier and Embraer and says it could place an order soon.

At the moment, THY's smallest aircraft is an Airbus A319.

THY's spin-off operation Anadolu Jet last month wet-leased two ATR 72 turboprops from Turkish carrier Borajet.
