Turkey will receive final bids for its 90-aircraft attack helicopter requirement in March 2006, with a selection of the AgustaWestland A129 Mangusta, Denel Rooivalk, Eurocopter Tiger or Kamov Ka-50-2 Erdogan to take place in mid-2006. Ankara’s first 50 aircraft will be bought directly under the $3 billion deal.
