Virgin Atlantic is branding its new UK domestic operation as Little Red, and will open the first routes at the end of March.
The short-haul service will operate from London Heathrow to Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Manchester.
Little Red, which will use Airbus A320s, will operate nine daily services to Scotland and three to Manchester.
Its first flights will begin on 31 March. The aircraft will be leased from Aer Lingus.
