Airbus is to demonstrate its new A350-1000 at the Paris air show, as well as the re-engined A321neo.

The airframer is to fly both types in a programme which also includes a display by the A380.

Paris will enable Airbus to showcase the A350-1000 (above), seven months after flight-test certification of the Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-powered jet commenced.

The A321neo (below) as secured certification with both engine options – the Pratt & Whitney PW1100G and CFM International Leap-1A. It delivered the first A321neo, a Leap-powered version, in April.
