Russian flag-carrier Aeroflot appears to have indicated a likely configuration for its Airbus A350-900s in a request for consulting services.

The consultation tender, to support the interior cabin design on the aircraft, refers to three classes of seating.

These include 28 seats in business class, 24 seats in premium-economy, and 264 in economy class, manufactured by B/E Aerospace. The tender also mentions a Panasonic in-flight entertainment system.

Aeroflot has 14 A350-900s on order and, earlier this year, signalled that it would take the first in early 2020.

It has also previously indicated intentions to double the size of the order to 28 of the Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-powered type.

Supplements to the tender documentation state that the consultation procurement failed as a result of the tender’s having only attracted a single bidder.
