One of Air Caraibes' Airbus A350-900s has apparently sustained tyre damage during a landing in Guadeloupe.

The aircraft had landed on 20 August and images circulating on social media purport to show at least one shredded main landing-gear tyre.

Guadeloupe broadcaster 1ere says the incident occurred at around 18:00, which suggests that the aircraft involved is F-HNET.

Meteorological data for Pointe-a-Pitre airport at this time indicates crosswinds for runway 12, and suggests the presence of convective weather.

Air Caraibes has two A350s. It had taken delivery of F-HNET around five months ago.
